What To Carry for Your Maui Turtle Tour

What To Carry for Your Maui Turtle Tour

  • Low-soled shoes are a must, so leave the heels back home!

  • Carry a towel for drying off after the swim.

  • Bring a credit card for onboard purchases since our boats are cashless.

Safety Measures

  • Remember to hold onto the railings for your safety and watch your step when getting off and on the boat.

  • Standing on benches or chairs and sitting on railings, tables, or chair backs is not permitted.

  • No smoking or vaping on the boat.

  • No carrying kids on your shoulders.

  • Keep one hand free to maintain your balance on the boat.

  • Wear comfortable shoes and keep yourself hydrated.

Cancellation and Alcohol Policy

  • 72-Hour Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 72 hours or more in advance, you’ll receive a full refund. If we cancel due to unprecedented weather conditions or other issues, you’ll receive a full refund. However, if you cancel late or don’t show up, you will be charged full price.

There are no cancellations or refunds for same-day bookings. If you’re sick and need to cancel, we’ll need a note from a local doctor to issue a refund.

    Alcohol Policy

We want everyone to have fun, but we keep it responsible—three drinks per adult (21+) on cruises where alcohol is served. On snorkel cruises, alcohol is served after snorkeling is done. Don’t forget to bring your ID if you want to drink!

Other Information

  • Pacific Whale Foundation is committed to protecting Maui’s reefs and oceans. Hence, we recommend using protective clothing and reef-safe sunscreen—just make sure to check the ingredients since the “reef-safe” label isn’t always true.

Since November 2019, we’ve banned sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinoxate on their boats. We recommend non-nano zinc oxide, which you can find at our Ocean Store. We also don’t allow full-face snorkel masks on our eco-tours.

    Thanks for helping our oceans!
