So here’s the deal: you have to be at least 7 years old to join the fun, but if you want to fly with the doors off, you’ll need to be 12 years or older.
Weight Limitations
As for weight, there’s a bit of a guideline. The maximum weight for an individual passenger is 275 pounds. If you’re flying as a group of three, just remember only one person can weigh over 200 pounds.
Now, here’s the important stuff: due to legal reasons, we can’t fly anyone who weighs 300 pounds or more at the time of your flight. So, remember to enter your weight accurately. We’ll also weigh everyone during check-in and any items you bring on the helicopter flight. If the weights exceed the restrictions, we won’t be able to take you on the tour, and unfortunately, you’ll still be charged full price. ☹
Items And Clothing You Can Carry
For the Doors Off tour, dress warm – bring a jacket and long pants; it gets cold up there! If you have long hair, tie it back with an elastic band and take off your earrings if you’re wearing a headset. Wear secure footwear (no flip flops!) and leave loose items like hats, scarves, or headbands behind – they won’t be allowed.
